Well, that's about it. What more can we really say? This site has put together several of Don's posts, and posts about him, in the hope that this would create a clearer picture for those who are interested. It would be impossible to include the full scope of Don's online activities: they are just to great, his posts are just too many, and our interest in the subject is not that strong. Still, we hope that these pages have helped broaden your picture of Don somewhat. And what good does all of this information do us? Well, it should make one thing abundantly clear: there's no way to get rid of Don Saklad. He's been making his case for years now, despite receiving nothing but scorn and ridicule for his efforts. There's virtually nothing anyone could say or do that could keep him from posting his views to any forum that he could gain access to. Would he stop if something radical happened to the culture of urban municipal libraries, or Boston Public Library? Doubtful. With one crusade gone, Don would probably find another. Our advice, for those who tire of Don and don't want to deal with him anymore, is this: get a newsreader with a kill-file (Forte Agent and MicroPlanet Gravity are both good), and set them to ignore everything Don posts. There's no other way.
